At the centre of the setup is the Pioneer DJ DJM-450, a professional 2-channel mixer with features inherited from the DJM-900NXS2. It includes a Magvel crossfader, 3-band EQ / isolator control, Sound Colour FX, Beat FX and high-quality 64-bit digital signal processing. Pioneer DJ also identifies the DJM-450 as an ideal partner for XDJ-700 players.

The interface is divided into Browse, Play and Perform sections, giving DJs quick access to the information they need during a set.
Pro DJ Link
Pro DJ Link lets compatible Pioneer DJ players communicate over an Ethernet connection.
With the XDJ-700, you can link compatible players and share music and rekordbox information across the setup. Pioneer DJ supports Pro DJ Link with up to four compatible multi-players.
rekordbox Workflow
Prepare playlists, cues, loops, beat grids and track information in rekordbox before transferring your music to compatible USB storage.
This gives the XDJ-700 a workflow that helps DJs prepare for larger Pioneer DJ club setups.
Hot Cues, Quantize & Beat Sync
Performance tools inherited from larger Pioneer DJ players include Hot Cues, Quantize and Beat Sync.
Quantize can snap compatible cues and loops to the rekordbox beat grid, while Beat Sync can synchronise rekordbox-analysed tracks between linked players.
Slip Mode
Slip Mode allows the track to continue playing silently in the background while you perform actions such as loops, scratches or reverse playback. When the action is released, playback returns to the correct position.
