The Pioneer DJ VM-70 Black is a professional 6.5-inch 2-way active monitor speaker designed for DJs, producers, home studios, content creators and small studio environments that need accurate sound with strong low-end performance.
Part of the Pioneer DJ VM Series, the VM-70 combines a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP, a 6.5-inch Aramid fibre woofer, a 1-inch silk soft dome tweeter and a rigid aluminium front baffle. The result is high-energy sound, low distortion and a professional monitor design that fits naturally alongside Pioneer DJ equipment.

High-Quality Components
Every VM Series speaker includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP to support wide-bandwidth audio reproduction. The efficient amplifier design helps deliver powerful, clean sound with low distortion, making the VM-70 suitable for DJ monitoring, music production and general studio listening.
The 4 mm thick rigid aluminium front baffle helps suppress resonance and unwanted vibration, allowing the speaker to reproduce sound more faithfully to the original source.
Aramid Fibre Woofer & Vortex Bass Accelerator
The VM-70 uses a 6.5-inch Aramid fibre woofer cone designed to deliver punch and impact in the bass and low-mid frequencies. These newly developed cones are 30% lighter than conventional paper-lined Aramid cones, helping provide stronger, deeper sound with improved responsiveness.
The Vortex Bass Accelerator improves low-end clarity by allowing air to flow smoothly through the bass reflex port. This helps reduce unwanted vibrations and keeps bass output tight, focused and controlled.
Constant Directivity Horn
Mid and high-frequency sounds are delivered with power and clarity thanks to the constant directivity horn. This design helps create a broad and uniform listening area, making it easier to hear detail accurately whether you are DJing, mixing, producing or listening.
The shape of the horn and woofer edge are specially designed so the flat playback frequency crosses over naturally to the tweeter, helping create a balanced and natural sound.
DSP Control for Room Tuning
All VM Series speakers are voiced flat so you can hear the natural sound of your music. To help adapt the speaker output to your space, the VM-70 includes rear-panel Low EQ and High EQ controls.
Each knob offers 4 selectable positions, giving you 16 possible EQ setting combinations. This makes it simple to tune the speaker for different rooms, desk positions and listening environments without needing additional software.
Fresh Professional Design
The VM-70 features a hexagonal aluminium front baffle with an Alumite treated brushed texture for a clean, professional look. The rigid baffle helps reduce unwanted vibration, while the tweeter protective guard helps reduce the risk of damage to the high-frequency diaphragm.
