The FBT Audio X-SUB 118SA is a professional 18-inch active powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, powerful low-frequency performance for DJs, venues, live sound systems, event production and fixed installations.
Featuring a 1 x 18-inch bass-reflex design, 1200W Class D amplification and a maximum SPL of 136dB peak, the X-SUB 118SA is the ideal low-frequency companion for the FBT X-LITE and FBT X-PRO speaker ranges. With a frequency response of 38Hz - 120Hz @ -6dB, it provides strong bass extension for music playback, live performance, club sound, mobile PA systems and professional installations.
Powerful 18-Inch Bass Performance
The X-SUB 118SA uses an 18-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil to deliver deep, controlled bass with excellent impact. It is ideal for users who need more low-end extension than a smaller subwoofer can provide, making it a strong choice for larger events, dance music, live bands and venue sound systems.
1200W Class D Amplification
A built-in 1200W Class D amplifier provides efficient, high-output power while keeping the system practical for portable and installed use. This gives the subwoofer the headroom required for demanding professional PA applications.
Ideal Match for FBT X-LITE and X-PRO
Designed as the perfect low-frequency extension for the FBT X-LITE and FBT X-PRO series, the X-SUB 118SA integrates neatly into FBT PA systems. Use it with compatible active tops to create a powerful full-range sound system for DJs, venues and event production.
DSP Processor with 4 Presets
The built-in DSP processor includes 4 presets, giving users flexible control over low-frequency response and crossover behaviour. These presets provide 2 response options with 2 different cut-off frequencies, allowing the subwoofer to be adapted to different speaker combinations and sound requirements.
Professional Connectivity
The control panel provides two channels with stereo combo XLR / jack inputs and outputs, stereo XLR high-pass filter outputs, level control, preset switch, phase reversal switch and PRT / LMT LED indicators. This makes integration into a professional PA system simple and efficient.
Rugged Birch Plywood Cabinet
The X-SUB 118SA is built from robust 0.70-inch birch plywood with a scratch-resistant black painted finish. The bass-reflex cabinet is designed for professional use, offering durability, strong acoustic performance and a clean black finish suitable for both mobile and installed systems.
Practical Transport & Mounting
The subwoofer includes an M20 top-mounted stand adapter for mounting a satellite speaker above the sub, plus two FBT-designed aluminium handles for easier transport. Four optional 100 mm / 3.93-inch transport wheels can also be fitted for improved mobility.

A 2-year manufacturer warranty is included as standard, with an additional 3 years available upon registration.
